Orient Star has launched a 75th anniversary limited-edition (limited to 255 pieces) M34 F8 Date featuring its first model with a meteorite dial which takes inspiration from the Perseid meteor shower.

Meteorites have travelled through the vast expanse of the universe and are used in some of the world’s most coveted timepieces. The dial of this timepiece features iron meteorite which has been treated with silver vapor deposition for anti-corrosion thin film coating. Each dial features a unique crystalline pattern making every piece different from each other. The sapphire crystal of the watch features a double anti-reflective coating making the meteorite dial easier to admire.

The M34 F8 Date has a case size of 40mm in stainless steel. Powering this watch is the automatic in-house calibre F8N64 with a power reserve of over 60 hours and which carries an accuracy of +15 seconds to -5 seconds per day, and is visible through the open caseback.
Each Orient Star piece is hand-assembled by craftsmen and is subjected to the highest quality standards of Japanese craftsmanship.
